Foundation
We are a religious Institute, one of Religious Diocesan Right. Founded in Embu Diocese by an Italian (FIDEI DONUM) Priest Late Rev. Fr. Mario Meggiolaro from Venice and Co-founded by Late Rt. Rv. Bishop Luigi Locati of Catholic Diocese of Isiolo by then Apostolic Vicariate of Isiolo. We were founded on 10th July 1995 and approved by the Church on 16th July 2003 during (Memorial of Our Lady of Mount Camel) by Late Bishop Luigi Locati. Our Congregation was founded under the Divine Grace of God the Blessed Trinity. This was Pre-inspired to our founder in Seminary and at his youthful age when he read an article by Ranher on the Trinity left behind by the Catholics. He said to himself: here my vocation-Trinity to the world and the world to the Trinity; the greatest service to God he gave. This became the seed planted of our Congregation (Institute of the Trinity Sisters IHTS). There were first five girls who felt called by God to serve Him, joined and foundation started where the Spirit of our Charism sprouted.
OUR AIM
The aim of our Institute is to give glory to the Blessed Trinity, living entirely in the gospel such that nothing contradict the charismatic living of the members. As members of the Holy Trinity Sisters our calling invite all to a radical witness to Christ in ways found worthy and recommended by ecclesiastical authority. We are therefore called as members to live harmoniously in our communities in complementing each other in; Prayer Life, community life and Apostolate striving to serve the Local Church in harmony and contemplation of the Unity envisaged by the Blessed Trinity. All members of the Holy Trinity Sisters are called to live Christ’s life, who by His words and deeds revealed the true face of God the Father. sanctification of the members by embracing the evangelical councils. Witnessing in evangelization through spreading the knowledge and love of the Trinity in the world (to all people) especially in Africa. The Trinity is the expression of our creation and redemption the maximum expression of our life. (2 Tim 3:16). Our mission is to form the Laity as it’s the demand of the Church at the times till they become the agent of transformation to our present world to transform the society; Culturally, Politically, Spiritually and economically. Enhancing the unity for which Christ prayed for (Jn.17:21) and coexistence with other religions.
Our Apostolate
It is in Our Apostolate that we are consecrated to rejuvenate faith of the laity from children, youth, men and women in union with the Catholic Church’s Magestry demands (through teaching Catechesis, Pastoral work in hard reached areas and marginalized ) in reaching out; evangelization through preaching the knowledge and love for the Trinity in the world, education in schools to eradicate illiteracy, Hospitals health of the sick and poor in service of the local church by Catechesis.

We embrace the Trinitarian Spirit of the three Divine person: Love of the Son, the only Begotten of the Father by an Eternal Generation, the Holy Spirit who Proceeds from the Father and the Son through an Eternal Procession. The Three Persons are Co-eternal, Co-equal and Co-Substantial with the Father. They are uncreated and Powerful. Father, Son and Holy Spirit always together: they create together and together they bring us into their communion of life and love. Nothing is done in the Blessed Trinity without the communion of the Three persons. This is our spirituality living in communion, Love in tranquility and Joy of the Most Blessed Trinity. To foster and enhance their love among members, communities and neighbors. Our Institute is Consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary in which we say;
this is what we ask from you Mary, `that in everything glory, adoration and love maybe given to Lord Most High of all things, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit’’ (pope John Paul II The Consecrated life no. 112).
